Child Help Line 1098 In warangal District

Child Help Line 1098 was officially launched by the District Collector Bojja Rahul in warangal to day on 20th July 2011. This is a 24 hour free help line for the children who are in need for care and protection.
This is being run by Child Line India Foundation, in collaboration with Women and Child Welfare Department of Government of India.
This Project is installed in four Mandals in the District,1.Eturu Nagaram 2.,Mangapeta, 3. Govindaraopeta, and 4. Thadvai, being facilitated by four NGOs, MARI,Pragathi,Tharuni,and FMMSSS.
Dr. Mamatha, Chair Person of child Welfare Committee Warangal District presented about the role and responsibilities of Line departments in rehabilitating the rescued children through help line, and the concept of child line Advisory Board.
The Collector also inaugurated the pamphlet on child help line, brought out by Tharuni.
